- Benelli TNT 125 spotted in India
- Uses a 125cc, single-cylinder engine
- Likely to be launched sometime later this year
Benelli is set to expand its Indian portfolio soon and is likely to include the TNT 125 which has been spotted in the country.
The KTM 125 Duke rival comes powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine housed in a steel tubular trellis frame. The motor is capable of producing 11bhp and 10Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. As compared to the KTM's output, the Benelli produces 3.3bhp and 2Nm lesser.
It rides on 35mm upside down forks upfront and a preload monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is done by a 260mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear with CBS as standard. Furthermore, the Benelli TNT 125 comes with a digital instrument that displays basic information.
We can expect Benelli to introduce the TNT 125 sometime later this year with a price tag of around Rs 1.25 lakhs Rs 1.30 lakhs, undercutting the KTM 125 Duke’s 1.32 lakh price tag.
