- Bgaus unveils two scooters in India
- Available in five variants
- Official launch next month
Bgaus, a new electric two-wheeler brand in India has unveiled two scooters – the B8 which is a premium scooter and the A2, an entry-level two-wheeler.
This brand has been introduced by RR Global and will be officially launched in August. The company is positioning these scooters as e-scooters for urban markets. That’s why it has focused a lot of styling, ease, comfort and quick charging. However, the company hasn’t mentioned if these scooters have been developed in house or have been imported from China.
Both the e-scooters are available in lithium and lead acid variants. The B8 is powered by a 1900W peak motor whereas the A2 gets a small 250W peak motor. The B8 has a top-speed of 50kmph, whereas the A2 tops at just 25kmph. It takes anything between 7-8 hours to charge the lead acid variant, whereas the charging time for lithium ion is around 3 hours. The B8 is equipped with things like combi-braking system, regenerative braking and dual-piston front brake. These e-scooters will be available in blue, white and grey.
The company hasn’t disclosed its sales strategy nor has it talked about its dealership presence. It will be a good idea to wait for a few months before putting down money on these scooters.
