Yesterday we reported about how mass-market bike makers like Honda and Hero are offering huge discounts to clear their BS-III stocks. The interesting bit is that even big bike makers like Ducati and Triumph are out with discounts on the models that they have in stock.
A few Ducati dealers are offering Rs 2 lakh discount on the on-road price for the Diavel. Its other reknown model – the Scrambler Urban Enduro – also gets a price cut of Rs 2.5 lakh. The Monster 821 is being offered with the most discount – a whopping Rs 2.7 lakh flat off the on-road price.
The British manufacturer – Triumph Motorcycles – are also out with some mouth-watering discounts. The Mumbai dealer is offering close to Rs 3 lakh off on the Thunderbird Storm and the LT. It’s the same story with the Daytona. The dealer is offering Rs 1 lakh discount on the Daytona, but there’s only one model remaining in stock. The Bangalore dealer has already sold out the super-sport, but the cruiser range is still up for sale. The Tiger range too, is being offered with good cash discount along with its festive offer of Rs 66,000 worth free accessories.
