- BMW GS Trophy 2020 finals to be held in New Zealand
- India Team consists of four members
- To complete the event on the BMW F 850 GS BMW recently concluded the Indian National Qualifier for the International GS Trophy 2020 in Goa. And out of 14 journalists in the media category, Pratheek Kunder from BikeWale has been selected to be part of the India team for the event. The four-man team also includes Mr HK Naik from Bangalore, Mr Shakeel Basha from Coimbatore and Mr V Sathyanath from Tirupur.
For those uninitiated, 2020 marks the seventh year of the BMW International GS Trophy. It will be held in New Zealand from 9-16 February. To make things interesting, the off-roading competition will challenge the riders with different terrains like glaciers, plateaus, mountain peaks and fjords. This will not only test individual off-roading mettle along with physical and mental fitness but will also focus on team effort.
The participants will go through a series of training sessions in India as well as in Thailand before heading for the finals in New Zealand.
