Blauer HT has tied up with Steelbird Hi-Tech India limited, to manufacture and supply Blauer helmets for worldwide distribution, but not India. However, there will be a range for India as well. The first of the new products manufactured by Steelbird will go on sale globally by Diwali this year. For India, however, a launch date of early 2019 has been decided upon.
All R&D for Blauer helmets will happen in Italy, but manufacturing will be done in India, at the Steelbird facilities. The rest of the range from Blauer, who has clothing apparel, sneakers, and accessories as well, will be also available eventually. Blauer is a company that is over eight decades old and is the leading supplier of technical garments to police and various military and paramilitary forces in the USA.
