- BMW C 400 GT unofficial pre-bookings open
- Launch details unavailable yet
- Top speed rated at 139kmph
The upcoming BMW Motorrad C 400 GT scooter has caught the attention of several buyers as the vehicle has received close to 100 pre-bookings so far. Do note that while the company has confirmed the model for the Indian market, it is yet to announce the prices for the maxi-scooter here.
This stylish vehicle from the Bavarian brand will feature a sharp and muscular design. The styling cues include an apron-mounted headlight, a windscreen, split-style footboard, step-up saddle, and sporty pillion grab-rails. The feature list will comprise LED lighting, a ride-by-wire throttle, keyless ignition, heated grips, heated seat, ABS, anti-theft alarm system, and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster.
The mechanical specification of the India-spec model should remain similar to the Euro5-compliant version that is already available in select international markets. The single-cylinder motor makes 33.5bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm. The top speed of the international-spec model is rated at 139kmph.
This feature-packed, modern maxi-scooter should arrive at a premium price tag. Several BMW dealerships have started accepting unofficial pre-bookings for the maxi-scooter. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle for a token amount of Rs 1,00,000.
