BMW recently unveiled the all-new Concept Stunt G 310 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This concept motorcycle previews the forthcoming 300cc streetfighter which has been jointly developed by the German manufacturer and TVS. While the motorcycle will be sold as a BMW in global markets, it will wear the TVS badge for India. Check out the detailed photo gallery of the BMW Concept Stunt G 310.
BMW makes no bones about the G 310’s purpose. It is an all-out stunt motorcycle, and features several modifications to suit its character.
The Concept Stunt G 310 has been developed with inputs from stunting legend - Chris Pfeiffer. He is also helping the brand promote the motorcycle through his antics.
The G 310 has lockable throttle so that the rider can take his hands off the controls. Please don’t try this at home!
The G 310 is built on a single-cylinder platform with the engine canted rearwards. This has helped in optimising the weight balance of the motorcycle.
The Concept Stunt G 310 comes with meaty Metzler tyres. The rear footpegs aid in performing a number of stunts.
You will notice that the rear brake rotor is larger than the one on the front. It also has an additional brake calliper.
The fuel tank is flanked by wing extensions which give the Concept Stunt G 310 a muscular appearance.
The minimalistic design has ditched all the non essential bits and pieces, including the instrument cluster, headlamps and turn indicators.
The five-spoke alloy wheels are similar to the one seen in 2014 TVS Draken concept. The red crash bars provide protection while blending in smoothly with the bike’s design.
The Concept Stunt G 310 gets dual levers on the handlebar, of which the second one activates the rear brakes with the squeeze of a finger. This is quite an essential mod for stunt bikes.
The Concept Stunt G 310’s a rear section gets a specially designed ‘stunt tail’. Milled from solid aluminium, this tail section bump up the motorcycle’s raw appeal.
This 310cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine gets a cylinder head which has been rotated by 180 degrees. The intake has been moved forward while the exhaust has been mounted under the seat.
The neon, white and red livery of the BMW Concept Stunt G 310 has been inspired by Brazil’s national colours and is befitting a flashy stunt motorcycle. And so is the helmet!
