Rumours suggest BMW Motorrad is working on what looks to be an outrageous naked motorcycle. This incredible street naked is expected to come with a monstrous six-cylinder engine with six exhaust tips, something similar to the legendary Honda RC166.
The artwork of this BMW suggests that the bike gets the engine from the K1600GT which has a transversely mounted inline six-cylinder 1649cc 24-valve engine producing a maximum of 158bhp and 175Nm of torque. The bike will also get the six-speed gearbox that transmits all that power to the rear-wheel through a shaft.
If true, this huge 1649cc engine will be wrapped up in something not too far off from a S1000R’s chassis. This combination will create a motorcycle like none other. To suit the characteristics of the chassis it is being built on, it will likely have a more aggressive state of tune on the six-cylinder engine. The motorcycle will also have all the modern day rider aids and also technology from both the S1000R and the K1600GT
As for now there are no more details. But, we are hoping that BMW does go about creating this outrageous naked motorcycle, it is sure to have a set of takers.
