BMW F 750 GS Review Image Gallery

In the wide spectrum of GS motorcycles offered by BMW Motorrad, the German bike maker offers the middle-weight F 750 GS in India. Offered in three variants, we’ve spent some time with the top-spec Pro model and you can read its review here. The motorcycle has highly impressed us with its capabilities and features. That being said, here’s a detailed image gallery of the motorcycle.

Slotted between the entry-level G 310 GS and the flagship R 1250 GS models, the F 750 GS is a touring motorcycle with road-focused attributes. Quality-wise, BMW has left no stone unturned, using good quality materials, well-fitting body panels and high level of detailing to ensure that the components are built to last.

Sporting an eye-catching colour, the shade of Austin Yellow Metallic, the F 750 GS is bound to draw attention anywhere you go. And while you are on the move, the motorcycle features a 15-litre fuel tank which is capable of returning a range of 324km before the tank runs dry.

The F 750 GS borrows its switchgear from the flagship R 1250 GS including the jog dial that allows one to browse through settings and other activities with ease. Besides that, care has been taken to to ensure that the wires and cables are nicely tucked away for an uncluttered look.

Powering the F 750 GS is an 853cc, parallel-twin motor that is tuned to deliver a maximum power output of 75bhp and peak torque figure of 83Nm. The same motor also does duty in the more off-road focused F 850 GS that develops 93bhp and 92Nm of peak torque.

BMW has paid special attention to the saddle by giving it a nice contour and also providing decent under-thigh support which also allows both feet to be comfortably placed on the ground. The riding triangle on this motorcycle is neutral with an upright stance.

While the F 750 GS is designed for the road, it is still capable of doing a fair bit of off-roading when the need arises. It has enough ground clearance with decent suspension travel to comfortably pull off some slides and jumps. The motorcycle also features an Enduro mode, wherein the rear tyre sees lesser intervention from the traction control system while the throttle response is softer allowing better control on uneven surfaces.

At the front, the motorcycle rides on telescopic forks that are non-adjustable but are accompanied by a steering damper for better stability. For braking, the bike employs 305mm dual discs with 2-piston floating calipers.

At the rear, the Pro variant features a monoshock with electronic suspension adjustment that changes the damping of the shock as per the mode selected. The system is also capable of electronically adjusting the height when riding with a pillion. Besides that, braking duties at the rear are handled by a 265mm single disc with a single-piston caliper.

BMW has equipped the F 750 GS with lots of features that provides a premium feel every time you get of the motorcycle. The top-spec Pro variant featured a TFT display for the instrument console which came with Bluetooth connectivity for controlling navigation, music and calls. Besides that, the standard equipment list includes ABS, automatic stability control, cruise control, two riding modes, LED headlight with LED daytime running lights and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

In terms of competition, the base variant the F 750 GS priced at Rs 11.95 lakhs competes against the Triumph Tiger 800 XR which retails at Rs 11.99 lakhs. On the other hand, the top-spec Pro model carries a sticker price of 13.2 lakhs which puts it in competition with the Ducati Multistrada 950 that retails at Rs 12.84 lakhs. (All ex-showroom, Mumbai)
