The BMW F 900 GS Adventure is the more touring-oriented version of the F 900 GS. It has a larger fuel tank and a different design. The bike was recently launched in India alongside the F 900 GS. Here is a look at the bike through images.
The design of the F 900 GS Adventure is striking to look at. This is down to the large, 23-litre fuel tank. BMW has been mindful of ensuring that the tank does not look ungainly and in fact, it has added new body panels around the tank as part of the extensions to do so.
Under the bodywork, the bike has a bridge-tyre frame which uses the engine as a stressed member. The frame is suspended by a USD fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by twin discs at the front and a disc brake at the rear.
It is powered by an 895cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 105bhp at 8,500rpm and 93Nm at 6,750rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The bike has a decent set of features such as ED lights, traction control, ABS and ride modes.
