BMW Motorrad has unveiled Sports Edition models of the F 900 R and the F 900 XR. Now, these have only been offered in the French market as of now. And here is what we know about them.
While the BMW F 900 R and the F 900 XR get the same design as the standard models, both bikes now flaunt new M-series graphics and paintwork all over. They come draped in black with red and blue stripes all over. Further, BMW has also brought a Sports Edition Pro for the F 900 twins. The Pro trim includes an SC-Project exhaust as well.
Along with the livery and exhaust, BMW has also equipped the bikes with its two accessory packages. That said, BMW is yet to reveal more details on the list of accessories that the F 900 R and the F 900 XR get.
On the engine front, the standard models get an 895cc two-cylinder motor that makes 99bhp in the R model and 105bhp in the XR. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
In France, the BMW F 900 R Sports edition is priced at EUR 11,950 (approximately Rs. 10.71 lakh sans taxes) and the F 900 XR costs EUR 14,350 (approximately Rs. 12.87 lakh sans taxes). As of now, BMW Motorrad India has no plans to launch either of them here.
