BMW’s upcoming adventure touring bike has been spotted testing yet again. The new spy pictures reveal more details about the F750 GS.
The pictures reveal three variants of the F750 GS. The base variant will get the standard suspension setup whereas the mid-range and top-of-the-line variant would get BMW’s Dynamic ESA. This suspension setup adjusts damping depending on the situation, rather than the rider manually choosing settings. It also self-adjusts according to the power mode the bike is in, namely - Road, Rain and Dynamic. The highest-spec model was fitted with a titanium HP sport exhaust, which could be an optional accessory to bump up power by a few horses. The bike will also get mounting points for BMW panniers over the earlier steel pannier frames.
The settings can be controlled via the handlebar controls and TFT screen, which are new for these bikes. Also available for the higher-spec variant of the F750 GS is BMW’s satnav system. The higher-spec variant also gets a set of fog lights, handguards and a centre stand. While both, the mid-range and top variant get LED lights, the base variant features conventional bulbs. However, all the parts will be available as options for each model.
The earlier images revealed that the bike has undergone changes like the ones seen on the F850 GS which was spotted testing a while ago. The F750 GS gets an added displacement of 50cc over the current F700 GS. This should increase power by around 10-15bhp over the current 75bhp, bringing the power close to 85 or 90bhp.
We can expect the F750 GS along with the F850 GS to be unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan this November. When launched, the bike will take on Triumph’s Tiger 800 range.
