- Rs. 50,000 discount offered on on-road pricing
- Valid till 30 December
- Prices to be hiked from 1 January 2025 onwards
BMW Motorrad announced that it will increase the asking price for its motorcycles from January 2025. While we are just a few days away from January 2025, select dealerships across India are offering discounts up to Rs. 50,000 on the G 310 GS.
The German ADV has been on sale in India for a while, and the aforementioned discount is being offered on the on-road price. For reference, the BMW G 310 GS costs about Rs. 4.17 lakh on the road in Mumbai. If you avail of the Rs. 50,000 discount, then the price goes down to Rs. 3.67 lakh. However, the colour options for the bike may vary as per the stock availability at the dealership(s).
Powering the BMW G 310 GS is a 313cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 33.5bhp at 9,250rpm and 28Nm and 7,500rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The bike comes with USD front forks and a monoshock. Overall, the G 310 GS has proved to be a promising touring motorcycle and has been received well by the buyers.
However, given the current landscape of the 300-400cc ADV market, the 310 GS feels outdated and underequipped. Its rivals, like the KTM 390 Adventure, which is also set for a major update soon, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and a few others, cost nearly the same or slightly more and either pack more features or more power and in some cases, both.
