- Registered 5,000 unit sales during 2021

BMW Motorrad India has delivered 5,000 motorcycles to its customers during 2021. The Indian arm of the German two-wheeler manufacturer will post a growth of over 100 per cent in 2021 as compared to 2020. The sales were led by the Made-in-India G 310 R roadster and G 310 GS adventure tourer. The G 310 motorcycles commanded a share of nearly 90 per cent of the yearly sales.
Speaking about achieving the sales milestone, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India, said that 2021 has been a phenomenal year for the company. He further added that despite the turbulence in the two-wheeler industry, BMW Motorrad India has performed well and achieved exponential growth.
The company updated its India portfolio with the launch of the C 400 GT maxi-scooter, the R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure, R nine T, R nine T Scrambler, S 1000 R, M 1000 RR, and the R 18 Classic. The company added in its press announcement that the BMW Financial Services India played a strategic role in expanding the footprint of BMW Motorrad in India.
