- Available in two trims: standard and style sport
- Styling borrowed from the TVS Apache RR 310
- Mechanical bits too have been shared
After countless teasers, BMW Motorrad has finally launched its smallest supersport offering in India, the G 310 RR. The asking price starts at Rs 2,85,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards for the standard model and goes all the way upto Rs 2,99,000 for the Style Sport trim.
The G 310 RR shares the styling and mechanical bits with the TVS Apache RR 310. So, you get the same split LED headlight and the butch but sharp bodywork. The only difference between the two models is the paint scheme since BMW offers its supersport in white, red and blue combination.
BMW has plonked a 312.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled mill in the G 310 RR. It belts out 34 bhp and 27 Nm, the same as Apache RR 310. On the feature front, it gets a fully digital instrument cluster with various readouts like the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level, engine temperature and more.
Sadly, even after costing more than the TVS Apache RR 310, the BMW G 310 RR has missed out on an adjustable suspension setup. It gets USD front forks and monoshock along with a disc brake at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The standard variant comes draped in black meanwhile the Style Sport trim wraps the bike in standard BMW colours of white, blue and red. Official bookings are open on the brand’s official website. Compared to the TVS Apache RR 310 (priced at Rs 2,59,990 onwards), the BMW G 310 RR costs almost Rs 25,000 more.
