The G310 GS sports a design similar to its bigger sibling, the BMW R1200 GS which is also on sale in India.
It gets a sculpted 11-litre tank and edgy tank shrouds. The fascia houses a small fly screen and beak shaped structure to boost its off-road motorcycle appeal.
It also gets luggage rack at the rear as standard to add to its touring capabilities.
The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels that are shod with Metzeler Tourance dual-sport tyres.
The BMW G310 GS is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 34bhp and 28Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
It sports a blue-backlit, LCD instrument cluster that displays speed, odometer, tachometer and fuel gauge along with the gear indicator and clock.
The G310 GS gets 41mm inverted forks with 180mm of suspension travel along with a rear monoshock that is preload adjustable.
Braking hardware is taken care of by a 300mm disc for the front and a 240mm disc at the back. It gets a dual-channel ABS system as standard that can be switched off for the rear wheel.
