Priced at Rs 2.99 lakhs, the G310 R is the most affordable BMW motorcycle you can buy in India. However at that price point, there are half a dozen other motorcycles you could opt for. Here is what the grid looks like-
You could have the adventure-touring version, the BMW G310 GS which retails at Rs 3.49 lakhs. It is powered by the same 313cc engine as the G310 R. This unit produces 33bhp and 28Nm of torque. There also is a cruiser on offer in this list from Hyosung. The GV250 uses a 249cc motor that puts out 26.2bhp and 21.3Nm of torque. It is priced at Rs 3.30 lakhs.
Hyosung also has a fully-faired motorcycle on offer in the form of the GT250R. The bike retails at Rs 3.44 lakhs and is powered by a 249cc V-twin engine which produces 28bhp and 22Nm of torque. You could also have the Yamaha YZF-R3 at Rs 3.48 lakhs. It uses a 321cc parallel-twin engine that puts out 41bhp and 29.6Nm of torque.
There are two streetfighters on offer in this list- the Kawasaki Z250 and the Benelli TNT300 priced at Rs 3.43 lakhs and Rs 3.08 lakhs respectively. The Z250 uses a 249cc, parallel-twin engine that puts out 31bhp and 21Nm of torque. On the other hand, the TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc parallel-twin engine that produces 38.2bhp and 27Nm of torque
