The launch of BMW Motorrad’s most waited motorcycles, the G310R and the G310GS is just around the corner. A few dealers across the country have started accepting bookings of these bikes for a token amount Rs 50,000.
The official launch is expected to take place between the end of June and the first week of July. These dealers are promising deliveries within two weeks of the launch. In fact, the dealers say that the booking amount is fully refundable. While the dealers are waiting for the official pricing, a few of them claimed that the G310R and the G310GS will have a price of around Rs 3.3 lakhs and Rs 3.6 lakhs on-road respectively.
The G310R was first unveiled to the world in 2015, whereas its adventure sibling, the G310GS was showcased in 2016. Both the bikes are made at TVS’ Hosur plant and exported to rest of the world. The German automaker is little late to the entry-level performance segment, but the company wanted to first get its sales and service reach right, before launching the 310s which are expected to get them numbers.
