- BMW G310 RR video leaked
- Shows BMW’s signature ‘M’ livery
- Official launch scheduled for tomorrow
BMW Motorrad is all set to launch its smallest sportbike, the G310 RR, in India tomorrow, 15 July. While we are just a few hours away from the launch, a video of the bike has leaked online revealing the motorcycle in all its glory.
As it was already known, the motorcycle carries a bodywork identical to the TVS Apache RR310, the bike it is based on. Hence, there’s an aggressive-looking split LED headlamp, a tall visor, an angular fairing, a muscular fuel tank, and a sharp upswept tail section. It also sports golden USD forks, alloy wheels, and an exposed trellis frame - all of which are identical to the Apache RR310. What set the bike apart visually is the presence of the ‘BMW’ badge on the fairing and the brand’s signature ‘M’ livery which comprises red and blue graphics on white body panels.
BMW is likely to offer the G310 RR in two variants including the one shown above, and a standard variant with more understated colour options. A teaser released by the brand some time back also gave us a glimpse of its instrument cluster. While the design of this dash is the same as that on the Apache, it displays a different home screen sporting BMW Motorrad branding. In all likelihood, the engine too will be the tried and tested 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled mill that produces 33.5bhp and 27.3Nm.
BMW Motorrad has commenced the pre-bookings for the G310 RR which is likely to be priced in the ballpark of Rs 2.80-2.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
