Here are images of what BMW’s upcoming K1600 bagger could look like. These detailed images clearly reveal the design of this motorcycle before the official unveil of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle has been spotted several times by many spy photographer but has not been officially shown. The BMW was also previewed as a concept last May along with the Concept 101, which shared the bike’s short windscreen and panniers.
The bagger has a low appearance at the back, where the conventional tail of the GT and GTL makes way for a redesigned rear end with drooping panniers, a lower pillion seat and long, horizontal exhausts.
Along with the redesigned tank, the headlight sits in a reshaped nose with extensions either side to deflect air around the bars, with new aerodynamic mirrors and a wide, electronically adjustable windscreen and new side panels.
The bike shares everything with the K1600GT and GTL mechanically. Including the aluminium frame, with its Duolever front suspension and Paralever rear. The wheels, brakes, instrument cluster and electronics are unchanged. The bike will get the same transversely mounted inline six-cylinder 1649cc 24 valve engine producing a maximum of 158bhp and 175Nm of torque from the K1600 GT.
The motorcycle is expected to officially revealed this year and go on sale in early 2017.
