BMW Motorrad India has announced the dates of the GS Trophy India qualifier. The Indian national qualifier will be held in Goa from September 27-29.
This is the second time the German bike maker is conducting the qualifiers in India. The 2018 edition saw three BMW riders participating in the International GS Trophy that was held in Mongolia. For the 2020 edition, BMW has chosen New Zealand to conduct the multi-day adventure filled event.
The Indian National Qualifier is held every two years and has a host of challenges just like the International GS Trophy. It is a multi-day competition with riders scoring points and leading to a final where top scorers compete for the three team positions. The International GS Trophy will be held in New Zealand from 9-16 February.
This time, the company has chosen the F850GS - a middleweight adventure motorcycle. To participate in the Indian edition, rider’s need to own 650cc and above GS motorcycles. The registrations have commenced and the same can be done at BMW Motorrad’s official website.
