BMW Motorrad is reportedly working on a smaller version of its classic cruiser, the R18. According to a report, this motorcycle is under development and will follow the same design lines as the R18.
The same reports suggests that this new BMW is likely to be called as the R12, making us believe that the bike will be powered by a 1200cc boxer engine. However, these details are still coming out in a rumour format and nothing concrete is out there.
But we do see a market for the smaller R18. The bike has been accepted well by the market. It looks really good and is loaded with lot of equipment. Plus, the overall performance is decent. So a market would love to see a motorcycle like the R18, but in a smaller displacement. This will help the German brand make a lighter bike and also make it little affordable.
