BMW Motorrad may be working on an all-new sports-tourer based on the famous and known S1000 platform. This rumour has been developed with the help of Motorrad magazine which ran a sketch signed by a well-known designer Stefan Kraft.
This new sports tourer is expected to feature dynamic damping control, a ride-by-wire throttle with different fuel maps, ABS, traction control. The motorcycle might share the engine from the S1000R with a different tune to produce more torque throughout the entire rev range. The German manufacturer may name this bike as the S1000F, just the way they named the street fighter version of the S1000RR as S1000R. We can expect few ergonomic changes to give that sport-tourer comfort for riders over long distances.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more details on the BMW S1000F
