BMW Motorrad opens new dealership in Chennai

BMW Motorrad has opened a new showroom in Chennai. Set up in association with KUN motors, this showroom is located at RR Complex, Anna Salai in Chennai. 

KUN motors started off its association with BMW Group as an automotive dealer, back in 2008. The KUN Motorrad dealership is the sixth of its kind in the country. It integrates sales, service and spares facility. Apart from motorcycles, the dealership also sells official riding gear, motorcycle accessories and apparel. 

BMW Motorrad current has 11 models in its line-up from the R1200 range, R nineT range, S1000 range and the touring range. The range starts at Rs 14.9 lakh for the R1200 R, going all the way up to Rs 28.5 lakh for the K1600 GTL (ex-showroom). All these models are imported as completely built units (CBUs), although the company is looking at setting up a CKD facility at the BMW plant in Chennai. The G310 R, which will be built at TVS' factory in Hosur, is expected to join the portfolio next year.
