- Gets new racing blue colour
- Strato blue variant has been discontinued
BMW Motorrad has unveiled their new 2019 model year changes. Its most affordable motorcycle, the G310R also gets a few changes but only cosmetically.
The G310R gets a new racing red paint scheme. Apart from this, there’s also a new HP Motorsport paint scheme with ‘HP’ decal on the motorcycle. While these additions are bound to help the company sell more bikes, it has also taken off the strato blue metallic variant off the market.
The G310R is scheduled to launch in India later this month along with the G310GS. So we’re expecting the Indian arm to launch the racing red variant in the country as well, as the bike is manufactured in India. The blue paint scheme model won’t be offered in the Indian market.
The BMW G310R competes with the KTM 390 Duke in the Indian market. But being a more premium brand, we are expecting BMW to price it on the higher side of the spectrum.
