BMW Motorrad India recently teased the R 1300 GS Adventure, indicating its imminent launch. Now, there is word that BMW may announce the price of the motorcycle at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
The R 1300 GS Adventure is likely to be one of the big attractions at the BMW stall. The bike will sit above the R 1300 GS in the company’s portfolio, and as the name suggests, it will cater to those who are looking to cover big distances in a day. This is possible thanks to the 30-litre fuel tank.
BMW, in fact, has given the ‘Adventure’ a rather unique appearance. The boxy design is not just functional but also makes the bike stand out.
Powering the R 1300 GS Adventure is a 1,300cc, Boxer twin that makes 145bhp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
As expected from a top-level ADV, the bike gets a plethora of electronics. There are four ride modes- Eco, Rain, Road and Enduro. These modes alter the power delivery as well as level of traction control intervention. The bike also gets Dynamic Traction Control, radar based adaptive cruise control, front and rear collision warning.
The bike is expected to cost between Rs 25 lakh to Rs 26 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
