BMW Motorrad has unveiled the R nineT 100 Years edition to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the company’s first motorcycle, the R 32. This limited-edition model gets a special paint theme that is combined with several chrome elements. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the BMW R nineT 100 Years edition.
The fuel tank combines black paint with chrome and white double lining. Further, it also gets knee pads and the '100 Years' badge.
At the back, this motorcycle gets a seat cowl with a chrome finish. Meanwhile, the rider seat features a dual-tone combination of black and oxblood for an exclusive look.
The front wheel cover is also painted black and features a white double lining. The styling is further enhanced with numerous black components. These include fork tubes, air intake snorkel, and Option 719 components.
The components from the Option 719 include the 719 Classic wheels with black anodised rim rings. It also gets the Option 719 Shadow milled parts package with milled cylinder head covers, engine housing covers, seat holders, and an oil filler plug.
Then, there is the Option 719 Shadow II milled parts package consisting of adjustable hand levers and a footrest system, pillion footrests, expansion tank covers, and handlebar end mirrors.
The feature list on the R nineT 100 Years edition includes adaptive turning light while the Comfort Package brings in heated grips, cruise control, and Driving Modes Pro to the motorcycle. Further, an anti-theft alarm system can be retrofitted as optional equipment.
The changes are limited to styling upgrades. Meanwhile, the motorcycle continues to use the same air/oil-cooled boxer-twin engine as the standard motorcycle which makes a maximum output of 107bhp.
