- 2024 GS Trophy bikes revealed
- Upgraded R1300 GS to be used
- Will be held in Namibia this year
BMW Motorrad has finally unveiled 2024’s GS Trophy bikes. The company will use the R 1300GS as the competition bike but with upgrades for better comfort and experience.
This year’s GS Trophy bike is based on the R 1300GS Trophy variant but with slightly more and better cycle parts. Firstly, the paint scheme is exactly like the Trophy variant, but it gets a few stickers to showcase this year’s sponsors.
The bike is equipped with a handlebar riser, engine protection bar, larger sump guard and also adjustable gear and brake levers. The bike also gets GS Vario rider footrests, enduro hand levers, headlight protection guard and white hand guard extensions. Instead of the split seats, the German brand has installed a single seat for this year. The cross-spoke wheels get some known off-road tyres.
The 2024 BMW GS Trophy is being held in Namibia this year and a total of three riders have been selected to represent the Indian contingent – Dev, Anand and Shahan along with journalist Rishaad.
