-2022 BMW S1000RR unveiled
- Gets new colour and revised frame
- Is likely to be launched in India this year
BMW Motorrad has unveiled the 2022 S1000RR for international markets. And the German manufacturer’s flagship motorcycle gets some subtle yet significant changes for the new model year.
The most evident is the new colour scheme called Style Passion. It consists of Metallic Grey and Black along with red highlights on the fairing and rear section. This colour replaces the Racing Red available on the previous model. However, the updates are not limited to the new colour and BMW Motorrad has also made changes to the chassis. The 2022 S1000RR is now available with the M Chassis kit that comes with an adjustable swingarm pivot and tail riser as standard. Moreover, the manufacturer has done away with the ‘Sport’ package so riders would have to opt for the ‘Dynamic’ kit instead.
Other than these changes, the 2022 BMW S1000RR remains the same with its ballistic 999cc, inline-four cylinder engine, and oodles of electronic rider aids. And while the motorcycle has already been introduced in global markets, we can expect BMW to launch the 2022 S1000RR in India after the launch of the R1250 GS on 8 July.
