The entire country has been speculating about the launch of the new BMW G310R but there has been no concrete information from the company, until now.
The long awaited G310R could be launched by June 2017 in India. The company’s official twitter channel in a tweet said that the G310R launch has been planned for the first half of this year, which basically ends in June. It’s good to see some confirmation on this 300cc naked streetfighter, which was unveiled almost a year ago, finally making its way to India.
@TrollingMerrily the G 310 R launch is planned for the first half of this year. The G 310 GS launch is planned for the second half of 2017.

The G310R is being manufactured at TVS’ Hosur facility and exported worldwide. While both the companies haven’t been talking to the media about such a late launch, our sources reveal that the alliance hasn’t been able to get the quality right for this motorcycle. The Germans are known to build brilliant motorcycles and it looks like BMW don’t want this belief to be changed.
While the alliance have been still working on the G310R, KTM has launched the 390 Duke recently and has taken the game to a whole new level. This KTM is better than the BMW in some aspects like the performance and features. It will be interesting to see which is a better all round product. We’re quite excited to ride both the bikes and compare.
Stay tuned to BikeWale.
