BMW Motorrad will unveil their entry-level motorcycles, the G310R and the G310GS for the first time in India at the 2018 Auto Expo.
Developed in Germany and made in India, the G310R is BMW’s most affordable bike. The G310GS, which is an adventure bike based on the G310R, is also made in India for the rest of the world. The G310R was supposed to be launched in India last year, but the company delayed the launch plans so that it can strengthen its sales and service infrastructures. While the German manufacturer sells its high-end bikes through its showrooms, the company doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned before it gets into volumes business.
The Auto Expo presence will also help BMW understand the pricing expectations of these single-cylinder premium bikes. The Indian enthusiasts will also get a glimpse of these bikes and that will definitely help them know the bike and its quality a lot more. Along with these bikes, BMW is expected to unveil the new F750GS and the F850GS adventure bikes. There are rumours floating around the internet that these bikes will be launched at the 2018 Auto Expo, but the company refuses to comment.
