BMW Motorrad has unveiled a new version of the K1600 GT, called the K1600GT Sport, at BMW Motorrad Days’ 2013 event in Garmisch, Germany. The variant is basically a sporty version of the company’s flagship touring motorcycle.
Mechanically there are no changes to the K1600GT, but cosmetic upgrades should make the bike a lot more appealing to the touring enthusiasts. The K1600GT Sport gets new graphics with black painted highlights on some part of the body, shorter windscreen, black pillion grab rails and black alloys. The motorcycle will be sold along the current GT and GTL models and will be available only in one colour – Orange.
The prices of this sporty-looking version are not announced yet and the Indian BMW Motorrad dealer might offer it here post global launch as both K1600GT and the K1600GTL are available here.
