Suzuki Motorcycle India has commenced the bookings for the second batch of BS6-compliant Hayabusa. The bookings are open online, and similar to the first round of bookings, the motorcycle will be available in limited numbers. Interested buyers can reserve a unit of the motorcycle for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. The first batch, for reference, included 101 units of the 2021 Hayabusa that was sold out within a week. The buyers from the first batch also received a rear seat cowl free of cost.
The latest iteration of the Suzuki Hayabusa was launched in the Indian market at an aggressive price tag of Rs 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new model carries a premium of Rs 2.65 lakh over the old model.
The 2021 model packs several styling and mechanical upgrades over its predecessor. The feature list on the new model includes full-LED lighting, an LCD screen, and a revised design. Mechanical specifications retain the 1,340cc inline-four motor, although it has received upgrades to comply with the latest emission norms. Linked to a six-speed transmission, the motor produces 187.7bhp of maximum power and 150Nm of peak torque.
