Yamaha is yet to reveal the official launch date for its most awaited motorcycle, the R15 V3. But looks like a few dealers have commenced booking for the same. .
As per an image posted online, a Yamaha dealer from Bengaluru, Perfect Riders has commenced booking for this upcoming fully-faired motorcycle. A receipt of Rs 5000 has been provided by the dealership to the customer. While we do know that the third iteration of the R15 will be introduced soon, Yamaha has still hasn’t given any hit of launch at the 2018 Auto Expo.
From the spy images, it’s clear that the R15 V3 for the Indian market won’t have the upside-down forks (USD). There’s a high chance of the bike missing out on ABS as well. But it does get a 155cc motor with variable valve actuation (VVA). Gearbox is expected to be the same six-speed one.
We’re expecting Yamaha to price the upcoming bike a bit higher than the current model. There’s a high chance that the Japanese manufacturer will continue to sell the V2 alongside the V3 for a couple of months.
