Bounce Infinity has announced that it has commenced the production of the E1 electric scooter at its manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The company added in its press announcement that it will commence the deliveries of the E1 electric scooter on 18 April, 2022.
The Bhiwadi facility in Rajasthan, which is spread across three acres, has a production capacity of 2,00,000 scooters annually. The company is also planning to set up another unit in southern India later this year. This new facility will have an annual production capacity of over 5,00,000 scooters.
The new Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter comes with two options for swappable battery – Scooter with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and Scooter with battery and charger. The BaaS option aims to offer the scooter at a more affordable price tag. The company claims that the BaaS option reduces the price by 40 per cent as compared to conventional electric scooters. Bounce Infinity aims to target 10 cities and set up a minimum of 300 battery swap stations per city.
The colour choices for the Bounce Infinity E1 include five options – Sporty Red, Sparkle Black, Pearl White, Desat Silver, and Comet Grey. The scooter also packs power mode, reverse mode, cruise control, and drag mode.
