Bounce Infinity is set to establish its battery swapping eco-system very soon. The EV manufactured has joined forces with BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.) for it and will set up 3,000 swap stations.
The procedure will be carried out in a phased manner starting from Bengaluru and later on adding 9 more cities to the list. Scooter owners will be able to use the Bounce smartphone app to locate the nearest swap station around them.
Bounce Infinity offers its e-scooter, the E1, in two formats – with and without the battery. Buyers can bring home the scooter without the battery unit and can rely on the swap stations for their needs. The latter will be available on a subscription basis.
The asking price for Bounce Infinity E1 is set to Rs 56,999 onwards (ex-showroom Delhi) sans the battery. But if you include the pack, the price goes up to Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom Delhi).
