- Upcoming Hero Xpulse 200 4V spotted
- Likely to be more powerful
- Official launch might take place soon
Hero MotoCorp was recently spotted testing the upcoming Xpulse 200 4V on public roads. It looks like the official launch of the bike is imminent since it was once again sighted at an event in its production-ready avatar.
This new version of the Xpulse 200 is likely to be more powerful than the model currently on sale. While the existing Xpulse produces 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm, the additional valves might help it rev more freely in the higher end of the rev band, thereby increasing its comfortable touring speed.
Another change will be new shades in its colour palette. The spy shots that have emerged until now have revealed a dynamic combination of white and blue colours along with a fresh set of graphics and a ‘4valve’ decal on the fuel tank. There will be more such new paint schemes on offer. Furthermore, all these changes will surely bump up the prices of the Xpulse 200 which costs Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom) at present.
The new Hero Xpulse 200 is likely to remain unchanged in all other areas. It’s already a very capable adventure motorcycle with the presence of a 21-18-inch spoke wheel combination and long travel suspension at both ends. And for those who want to make it a more hardcore off-roader, Hero also sells the Rally Kit for an additional cost. With a Bluetooth-enabled console featuring turn-by-turn navigation, the Xpulse 200 is modern as well.
