The pictures of TVS’ most awaited motorcycle – the Apache RTR 310 have been leaked. These pictures were clicked during an ad shoot for the motorcycle.
The pictures show that the new Apache RTR 310 follows a new design language. Firstly, it was assumed this bike would have the same chassis as the BMW G310R. But the pictures say otherwise. While the main frame isn’t visible, the subframe is entirely new. The front fork tubes, too, look a bit thinner than the ones on the G310R.
The cycle parts, like the wheels, brake discs, seat and LED lights, are brand new. The colour combination looks pretty cool on the motorcycle. The exhaust on the spotted bike looks like a race exhaust, which makes us believe this bike may not be a fully production-ready bike.
The RTR 310 will get the same 310cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. So the power figures are likely to remain at 34bhp and 28Nm. This motor will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. Regarding features and electronics, this RTR will likely get power modes and full-colour digital instrumentation with smartphone connectivity.
TVS plans to launch the new RTR 310 in the next few months. Once launched, it will compete against the KTM 390 Duke, Honda CB300R and the Bajaj Dominar 400.
