- Gets a 10.2-inch TFT
- Features sporty and aggressive styling
- Gets 105kmph of top speed
TVS has launched its second electric scooter and it is called the X. This is the Hosur-based brand's first performance electric scooter and it packs a bunch of nifty bits alongside the swanky styling. Let's have a look at it.
The new TVS X e-scooter looks sporty and gets a brand-new design. It resembles the Creon concept that was showcased a few years ago. So, the cuts and creases, sharp body panels, and youthful design approach are all very evident in the production version of the new TVS X.
It gets fully LED illumination, a 10.2-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect for navigation, calls and SMS access, a customizable home screen, three ride modes (Xtride, Xonic, and Xtealth), OTA updates, cruise control, and a host of more features.
The new TVS X EV gets 105kmph of top speed and the brand also claims that it can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in 2.6 seconds. It is powered by a 4.44kWh battery that offers 140km of range and is linked to an 11kW (peak power) motor. Meanwhile, the hardware comprises telescopic front forks, an offset monoshock, and a 220mm front and 195mm rear disc brake with single-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on 12-inch wheels wrapped in a 100/80 front and a 110/80 rear tyre.
Bookings for the TVS X have commenced with a fully refundable token amount of Rs. 5,000. The deliveries have been slated for November and the asking price is set at Rs. 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
