After the BS6 Splendor iSmart, HF Deluxe and Pleasure+ 110, Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the BS6 variants of the Destini 125, Maestro Edge 125 and Splendor Plus. The BS6 Hero Destini 125 is priced at Rs 64,310 (LX Variant) while the BS6 Maestro Edge 125 is available for Rs 67,950 (Alloy wheel with Drum brake).

Both, the BS6 Destini 125 and BS6 Maestro Edge 125 use the same 125cc, BS6 compliant, Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology’ that produces 9bhp at 7,000rpm and peak torque of 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm. In comparison, the BS4 version made 8.70bhp at 6,750rpm and 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm. Hero MotoCorp claims 11% higher fuel efficiency and 10% faster acceleration from the BS6 engine. Both scooters also benefit from Hero MotoCorp’s i3S Technology (Idle-Stop-Start System).
The BS6 compliant Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125 retain most of the styling cues from their respective BS4 iterations. However, there are a few visual upgrades on both products. The BS6 Destini 125 features new Signature LED Guide-Lamps along with a new Matt Grey Silver colour option. The BS6 Maestro Edge 125, on the other hand, gets a unique Prismatic Purple paint.
