BS6 KTM RC 390 Image Gallery

KTM India launched its updated, BS6 compliant range in January 2020. Among the BS6 compliant motorcycles from the Austrian two-wheeler brand was the updated RC 390 that was launched at Rs 2.48 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In this post, we bring you detailed images of the BS6 KTM RC 390.

The latest iteration of KTM’s racetrack-focussed, sub-500cc motorcycle features bold RC graphics that run across the fuel tank and the fairing. The 390 badge, KTM branding and “Ready To Race” tag is also visible on the fairing.

An RC 390 branding is present on the panel under the pillion seat, near the grab rail.

The lower part of the fairing on the new model is shorter than the BS4 motorcycle.

The BS6 iteration of the KTM RC 390 uses black alloy wheels instead of orange units on its predecessor. The black wheels come with orange rim-stripes that add a nice contrast to the visuals.

Unlike the BS6 390 Duke, the BS6 RC 390 misses out on the Quickshifter+. The tech would have come in handy while riding on a race track. The six-speed gearbox continues to feature the PASC anti-hopping (slipper) clutch function.

Despite being BS6 compliant, the 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor delivers 42.9bhp of power and 35Nm of torque. The motorcycle continues to use the Ride-by-Wire tech.

Safety net comprises a disengageable Bosch 9.1 MB dual-channel ABS.

The hardware specifications are retained from the BS4 motorcycle, and the BS6 RC 390 continues to use steel trellis frame with welded sub-frame, 43mm WP APEX front forks, WP APEX rear mono-shock, 320mm single disc with four-piston radial fixed calliper at the front and a 230mm single disc with a single-piston floating calliper at the rear.
