Triumph Motorcycles India has announced that it will not hike prices of its BS6 compliant motorcycles until July 2020. The company’s BS6 range currently comprises of the Bonneville Street Twin, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120 and the Bonneville Speedmaster. Apart from pushing forward the price hike, Triumph Motorcycles India has launched attractive finance schemes on the products.
The Indian arm of the British two-wheeler brand has also announced that it will be extending the validity of the standard warranty as well as the extended warranty on motorcycles, which were due to expire between 20 March 2020 and 3 May 2020, till 30 June 2020. The company stated in its press announcement that the warranty of the bikes would not be affected due to delay in periodic maintenance, provided that the vehicles are serviced within 30 days of the lockdown getting over (currently scheduled on 3 May 2020).
The dealerships are preparing to handle any increased service volume post the lockdown and the company put processes in place to ensure a smooth customer experience.
In other updates, the company will update its India portfolio with the launch of the 2020 Street Triple RS on 22 April 2020. The flagship Street Triple series product was previously scheduled to be launched on 25 March, although the launch was postponed due to the growing concerns around the Coronavirus Pandemic.
