TVS Motor Company commenced the BS6 transition in late-2019. The company has already announced the launch of the updated Apache series, Jupiter range and the Star City Plus while the prices of the BS6 NTORQ were recently revealed on the product’s website. Now, dealer sources have shared the prices of the BS6 TVS Radeon.
The updated iteration of the 110cc commuter motorcycle will be available from Rs 60,492 (vs Rs 55,160 for the BS4 version) onwards. The Commuter Of The Year Edition, which is available in two variants – drum and disc, will be priced at Rs 64,492 (vs Rs 57,060 for the BS4 version) and Rs 66,492 (vs Rs 59,160 for the BS4 version) respectively.
The details about the BS6 version are yet to be revealed, although we expect to see the addition of an LED headlight to the premium variants. Other features will remain identical to the BS4 version and thus the list will comprise a car-inspired instrument cluster, chrome highlights and ribbed pattern for the seat cover.
The hardware specification, too, should be identical to the BS4 model. So, the shock absorption setup will comprise telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable twin-springs at the back. Braking setup on base model and the lower-spec Commuter Of The Year Edition will include drum brakes on both wheels, while the top-spec model will use a disc brake at the front.
The updated engine on the BS6 version should deliver slightly different numbers than the BS4 model. The BS4 Radeon, for reference, was tuned to produce 8.2bhp at 7,000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5,000rpm.
