The BSA Gold Star 650 went on sale in India on 15 August and shortly after the company began delivering the motorcycle to customers.
The Gold Star 650 is sold at Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle dealerships across the country. The bike was launched at Rs 2.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
With the launch of the Gold Star 650, the company has forayed in a segment that has competition from the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
The BSA, however, brings its own legacy and charm to the table. From its modern-retro design to its period correct elements like chrome embellishments and an analogue instrument cluster.
Powering the bike is a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 45bhp and 55Nm.
The Gold Star 650 is available in six colour options with the most expensive one, called the Legacy Edition that sets you back by Rs 3.35 lakh, ex-showroom.
