- Most expensive Legacy Edition gets chrome components
Classic Legends recently launched the BSA Goldstar 650 in India. The ex-showroom prices of the bike start from Rs. 2.99 lakh and go up to Rs. 3.35 lakh, depending on the colour option. The motorcycle is available in six shades and here’s a quick look at each one of them.
Two of the most affordable colour options are the Insignia Red and Highland Green. On these trims, the fuel tank and both fenders come dipped in shades as per their names while the mirrors and a majority of the engine components are blacked-out. Further, priced at Rs. 3.12 lakh are Midnight Black and Dawn Silver which are similar to the previous two versions but boast different primary colours.
The one which truly stands out is the Shadow Black colour variant which, as the name suggests, follows an all-black visual theme for the entire bodywork and cycle parts. It also sports a completely black fuel tank, unlike the other colours which are adorned with a chrome patch on the sides of the tank. This one sets you back by Rs. 3.16 lakh. Lastly, the most expensive Legacy Edition, which costs Rs. 3.35 lakh, looks the same as Dawn Silver but it gets chrome-finished mirrors, handlebar, bar-ends, and engine cases.
Powering the Goldstar 650 is a 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 45.6bhp and 55Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. It rides on an 18-17-inch spoke wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends with Brembo calipers. The motorcycle gets a 12-litre fuel tank and weighs 201kg (kerb).
