Mahindra-owned BSA is said to be working on an electric motorcycle that is expected to debut by the end of this year. While the brand currently has the petrol-powered Goldstar 650 in international markets, the brand is looking at the prospects of an electric future with this new electric motorcycle.
Now, details about the BSA e-bike are scarce but we can expect the brand to stick to its retro roots in terms of design and styling. After all, in the e-two wheeler market where everything is meant to look futuristic, BSA will want to stand out. Moreover, it is yet to be seen whether the electric motorcycle will make its way to India as there is no word about the Goldstar 650 entering here either.
Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see what Classic Legends come up with for the BSA brand in India. Although for now, the company is only looking to focus on the export market for the iconic brand.
