Honda2Wheelers India has registered over 25,000 customers for its first BS-VI two-wheeler, the Activa 125 Fi. The company has recorded these many takers within two months of launch of the scooter. Honda had introduced the new Activa 125 Fi in September, while deliveries commenced in the first week of October. The aforementioned revelation was made by Minoru Kato, Honda’s President and CEO, at the launch of the company’s first BS-VI motorcycle, the SP 125.
It’s worth noting that Honda has already launched two products compliant with the upcoming emission regulations which is scheduled to be operational from 1 April 2020. As the deadline is inching closer, more and more manufacturers will now start launching their BS-VI products. During the launch of the SP 125, Honda’s top official also stated that the company recorded double digit growth in the last month which was courtesy the festive season.
The BS-VI Activa 125 Fi is available in three variants including Standard (drum brake with steel wheels), Alloy (drum brake with alloy wheels) and Deluxe (alloy wheels with front disc brake) which are priced at Rs 67,490, Rs 70,990 and Rs 74,990, respectively. As for the newly-launched SP 125, it has been introduced in drum and disc brake models which cost Rs 72,990 and Rs 77,100, respectively.
