- Will not be launched in India
- Uses a carburettor system
- 149.2cc engine makes 15bhp
The 2023 Hero Hunk has been spied in Jaipur, India near the company’s Tech Center and the motorcycle looked production-ready. It was seen with Hunk branding on the fuel tank along with sporty graphics. While the Hunk has been discontinued in the Indian market, the motorcycle is sold in several developing countries across the world.
Do note that this motorcycle is sold with a carburettor setup and the 2023 version, too, will use the same setup. The motorcycle is powered by a 149.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a carburettor system that makes 15bhp at 8,500rpm and 12.6Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The hardware comprises telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, and a single-channel ABS.
The styling, too, remains similar to the current version that is sold overseas and the 2023 version retains design elements such as a halogen headlight with twin DRLs, an engine cowl, muscular fuel tank, step-up seat, a side-slung exhaust, and split-style alloy wheels. In fact, even the graphics are similar to the model sold in the international markets.
Since the Hunk still uses a carburettor setup, it does not comply with the newest emission norms in our market and thus it will not be launched in India.
