CEAT Tyres has announced its association with Jawa Motorcycles for the launch of the Perak. The bobber-style motorcycle gets CEAT’s Zoom Cruz tyres. The company claims that these tyres are designed to deliver a comfortable riding experience and superior control at high speeds. The Zoom Cruz tyres are available in 100/90-18 front and 140/70-17 rear setup.
Speaking about the launch, Amit Tolani, Chief Marketing Officer, CEAT Tyres said that the Jawa Perak has recorded an overwhelming response since its entry and that CEAT is glad to deliver Zoom Cruz tyres as per expectations. The tyre maker looks forward to a long partnership with Jawa Motorcycles.
The Jawa Perak, which was launched in the Indian market in November last year, is priced at Rs 1,94,500. The bookings commenced in January 2020 while the deliveries started in July this year. The motorcycle is available for display, test rides and booking at all Jawa dealerships across India.
The Perak uses a slightly higher displacement motor than its siblings, the Jawa Classic and the Forty-Two. The 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine is tuned to produce 30bhp of peak power and 32.74Nm of maximum torque. The newly revealed torque output number is slightly higher than the figure (31Nm) announced at launch.
