CEAT Ltd. has expanded its product portfolio by launching two new tyre patterns at the on-going bike festival, India Bike Week 2019, in Goa. Called the Gripp XL and Zoom X3, the former has been designed especially for Royal Enfield motorcycles while the latter is for 150cc+ motorcycles like the Pulsar 220/180/160, Avenger and Apache models.
The Gripp XL are tubeless-type tyres that have been designed to offer superior grip over all terrains. It gets an angular block pattern to provide optimum traction and grip over varying surfaces. It also has wide grooves in-between the blocks that allow better water channelling thus improving grip in wet conditions.
As for the Zoom X3 and Zoom X3 F, these tubeless tyres have been developed for providing superior control at high speeds. Catering to motorcycles with displacement above 150cc, the Zoom X3 F is for the front which features a continuous circumferential groove in the shoulder portion which according to the company, improves handling and agility along with enhanced ride quality. Meanwhile, the Zoom X3 is a rear tyre featuring a Zig Zag tread design along the centre line. This offers better straight-line stability and also a wiping effect during wet road conditions by channelling the water out effectively.
The new Gripp XL and Zoom X3 series of tubeless tyres are now available at all authorized CEAT Shoppes and dealers across the country.
